"A New Treatment Approach for Eating Disorders"

Synopsis:

Dr. Chio discussed the diagnostic criteria, medical consequences and the treatment approach of the three major types of eating disorders. He explained the differences between anorexia nervosa, bulimia nervosa and binge eating disorder and cited many valuable resources and the history of each disorder. He shed light on both women and men living with the eating disorders and the long term effect if left untreated or not treated soon enough. Overall the presentation was very light and informative for such a serious subject.
