Rolf B. Gainer, Ph.D. Diplomate ABDARolf B. Gainer, Ph.D., Diplomate ABDA, is the Chief Executive Office at Brookhaven Hospital and the Vice President of Rehabilitation Institutes of America. He is the founder of the Neurologic Rehabilitation Institute of Ontario (Canada). Dr. Gainer is a psychologist who has been involved in the design and operation of treatment programs since 1977. He has published numerous articles on mental health and rehabilitation topics and has presented at many international conferences. He remains active in outcome research.

Kenneth Pierce is the Chief Financial Officer at Brookhaven Hospital.  He has over 25 years of hospital accounting and management experience in major hospitals in Missouri, Tennessee and Florida.  He is a graduate of the University of South Florida, Tampa.

Jennifer Earnhardt, BA, MS, is the Financial Services Coordinator for Brookhaven Hospital. She is also one of the administrators of the Hospital.  Jennifer attended the University of Oklahoma receiving a Bachelor of Arts degree in 2004 in Letters followed by her Master of Science degree in Counseling Psychology from Northeastern State University in 2009.  She has been with Brookhaven for over 7 years and began her work as a Mental Health Technician on the Behavioral Health unit.  While attending school, Jennifer worked in the Medical Records department and the Business Office, completing her internship as a therapist on both the BH and NRI units.  After finishing her degree, Jennifer returned to the Business Office as the Assistant to the CFO before being promoted to her current role.  She also handles potential client requests from the website, ensuring they feel comfortable before admission.   In her free time, she enjoys reading and researching different aspects of the field of psychology.

Jason Pirtle, MSM, is our Director of Business Development.  He has over 18 years experience in the areas of HealthCare Administration and Finance.  Jason completed both his Bachelor and Masters of Science in Management from Southern Nazarene University.  Jason began his career at Brookhaven Hospital in 2013.

Our Doctors

Mark D. Gage, DOMark D. Gage, DO, is the Medical Director of Brookhaven Hospital. He is board certified in psychiatry and is a graduate of Western University of Health Sciences. In addition to his studies in psychiatry, Dr. Gage completed his undergraduate work in psychology at Chapman University. He brings over seventeen years of experience in psychiatry to Brookhaven.

Liphard D'Souza, MDLiphard D’Souza, MD, is the Medical Director of Brookhaven’s Neurologic Rehabilitation Institute at Brookhaven. Dr D’Souza holds multiple board certifications in Neurology. He obtained his medical training at St. John’s Medical College in Bangalor, India, and was an Associate Professor at Oral Roberts University School of Medicine at the City of Faith Hospital. He has worked in hospital, agency and private practice settings for over 32 years.

Chisoo Choi, MDChisoo Choi, MD, is an Internal Medicine Consultant for Brookhaven and the Renewal Christian Care Program. He is board certified in Internal Medicine. Dr. Choi graduated from Rush Medical College in Chicago and was a Clinical Assistant Professor at the University of Oklahoma School of Medicine and the Oral Roberts University School of Medicine.

Paul Cochran, MD, is a graduate of University of Oklahoma Medical School and holds board certifications in Family Medicine, Emergency Medicine, and Psychiatry.  His experience includes founding and operating free clinics, practicing emergency medicine in area hospitals and serving as the Director of EMS Boards for Wagoner and Creek counties.

Charles D. Van Tuyl, MD earned a Ph.D. from Indiana University in 1972 with primary concentration in Central Eurasian Studies. He taught at Bacone College, Muskogee, Oklahoma before changing from the teaching to the medical profession. He earned an M.D. from the University of Oklahoma in `1987.   Dr. Van Tuyl has been a psychiatrist in McAlester, Oklahoma and Tulsa, Oklahoma and has also published several scholarly books including a Handbook of the Cherokee Verb and a translation of Athanasius Kircher’s China Illustrata (1667) from the original Latin into English.

Naveen Kumar MD - PhysicianNaveen Kumar, MD, is a Board Certified Consultant Psychiatrist and Addiction Medicine Specialist at Brookhaven Hospital.  He obtained medical training at JJM Medical College in Karnataka, India and completed Psychiatry Residency training at Oklahoma Health Sciences Center in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma.  Dr. Kumar has previous experience in hospital, agency, and private settings for 15 years.

Community Outreach and Education

MJ Clausen - MarketingM.J. Clausen MS, LPC, is  the Community Education Coordinator for Brookhaven Hospital. M.J. earned her undergraduate degree in Psychology from the University of Tulsa and her MS degree from Oklahoma State University in Community Counseling. She has had a varied career working as a mental health and career counselor, a teacher and as a volunteer working in a women’s assistance program to develop skills for returning to work or school.

Lydia D'Ross - Renewal Outreach ChaplainRev. Lydia Gonzalez D’Ross aka Lilly, is the new Renewal Outreach Chaplain for Brookhaven Hospital. Lydia and her husband Jay of twenty five years are ordained and licensed ministers through Victory Fellowship Ministries of Tulsa. They serve as International Federation Chaplains providing assistance to law enforcement, community and pastoral leaders. Lydia and Jay are from New York and their cultural background stems from the Sepharic, Hispanic (Puerto Rico) and Tribal (Tiano) ancestry.

Since the age of 15, Lydia has devoted her life to helping others through volunteer public service. She is recognized as a national merited leader and has been inspiration speaker to various universities and conferences.

Lydia brings to Brookhaven Hospital, 30 years of health and human services experience and a life time volunteer expertise from array of disciplines, which has awarded her 66 life learned honor credits towards her Bachelor’s Degree in Advance Psychology, Theology and Education (2000,KS)  Lydia is also a graduate from Oral Roberts University with a Diploma in intensive Ministry and Training Development Institute, founded by President Oral Roberts and Dr. Frank Hultgren. (2003) Lydia is a member of several advisory boards including the OMHSAS System of Care, Oklahoma Women of Status Commission and Chair, and other mental health task force committees.  Lydia also studied at Hebrew University on International Foreign Relations and graduated from Regent University with Master’s from the School of Government Public Administration and International Emergency Management.

For her dedication,  Lydia has been humbled to receive numerous awards, letter’s of recognitions and Services to the Armed Forces awards, since 1987. Most recently, Lydia was awarded the 2014 Woman of Distinction Award by Tulsa Business and Legal News (08/28/14 Publication) and Congressional Community Service Award from Congressmen Jim Bridenstine.

In her spare time, Lydia enjoys strategic planning, community engagement and helping others achieve towards their destiny by inspirational blog writing, speaking at conferences and influencing faith-based leaders through biblical activism.

Lydia has been with Brookhaven since the Summer of 2014 and looks forward to bringing her expertise, experience and resource as the Renewal Outreach Chaplain at Brookhaven Hospital.
