Chris Cannida, MS, LPC, is the Admissions Supervisor for Brookhaven Hospital. She joined Brookhaven as an outpatient therapist in August, 2014 before moving to the Admissions Department. She received her Master’s degree in Applied Behavioral Studies at Oklahoma State University (1985). Chris brings with her 27+ years experience in trauma recovery, cognitive therapy, and relationship counseling. From 2008-2013, Chris worked as a counselor embedded with military units assisting service members with combat stress and reintegration. Chris maintains an interest in couples’ counseling as a Gottman 7 Principles Program Educator and continues to advocate for effective military mental health treatments by serving as a curriculum advisor for PsychArmor Institute. Robert M., MSW, is an Admissions Counselor at Brookhaven Hospital. He completed his Masters Degree in Social Work at the University of Oklahoma in 2001. Robert has previously provided therapeutic services for children and their families at various agencies in the Tulsa area. He joined the Brookhaven team in 2011.
Christy Higgins, MSW, is an Admissions Counselor for Brookhaven Hospital. She earned a Masters of Social Work degree from the University of Oklahoma. Christy has many years of experience working with adults through the Child Welfare system. Christy joined the Brookhaven Team in August of 2014.
Braden Cary, MS, LPC, is an Admissions Counselor for Brookhaven Hospital. He completed his Masters Degree in Counseling at Northeastern State University. Braden is currently under supervision for his LPC. He has worked in outpatient settings for the past 2 years, assessing children and building programs for alternative schools. Braden joined Brookhaven in August of 2015.
