Chris Cannida - OP TherapistChris Cannida, MS, LPC, is the Admissions Supervisor for Brookhaven Hospital.  She joined Brookhaven as an outpatient therapist in August, 2014 before moving to the Admissions Department. She received her Master’s degree in Applied Behavioral Studies at Oklahoma State University (1985). Chris brings with her 27+ years experience in trauma recovery, cognitive therapy, and relationship counseling. From 2008-2013, Chris worked as a counselor embedded with military units assisting service members with combat stress and reintegration.  Chris maintains an interest in couples’ counseling as a Gottman 7 Principles Program Educator and continues to advocate for effective military mental health treatments by serving as a curriculum advisor for PsychArmor Institute.   Additionally, Chris maintains ongoing professional blogs found at

Robert M., MSW, is an Admissions Counselor at Brookhaven Hospital.  He completed his Masters Degree in Social Work at the University of Oklahoma in 2001.  Robert has previously provided therapeutic services for children and their families at various agencies in the Tulsa area. He joined the Brookhaven team in 2011.


ChriChristy Higginssty Higgins, MSW,  is an Admissions Counselor for Brookhaven Hospital.   She earned a Masters of Social Work degree from the University of Oklahoma. Christy has many years of experience working with adults through the Child Welfare system. Christy joined the Brookhaven Team in August of 2014.

Nadi Agha, BA, is an Admissions Counselor for Brookhaven Hospital. She is completing her Masters Degree in Counseling at Northeastern State University and is expected to graduate December 2016. Nadi is currently interning at Brookhaven and is pursuing her license to practice counseling. She has experience working with children and adults in both inpatient and outpatient settings in various agencies in the Tulsa area. Nadi joined the Brookhaven team in April 2016.
William Kerner, MA, LMFT, joined the Admissions Team at Brookhaven Hospital in October 2017. William has three degrees from Oral Roberts University, including a double master’s degree in counseling and theology. He studied at the “Institute for Holy Land Studies” in Jerusalem, Israel. William is a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist, and has experience ranging from private practice to hospital settings.
