Chaplains

Don Smith - ChaplainRev. Don Smith Jr. is lead chaplain for Brookhaven Hospital’s Renewal Christian Care Program. Don is licensed and ordained through the Southern Baptist Convention and has been on staff at various churches since 1982 He has held church staff positions as Student Minister, Worship Minister and Sr. Pastor. Don is currently Sr. Pastor of a local Tulsa church. He has been with Brookhaven since December 2010.

 

Betty-Jo Anderson, has been a Chaplain at Brookhaven since 2000. She has a Bachelors in Cross Cultural Ministries and a Master in Educational Leadership. Chaplain Anderson is ordained with the Assemblies of God. Her desire is for individuals to journey in spiritual and emotional healing so they may be rooted in a loving relationship with the God who created them.

Leslie Patterson, is a Chaplain for Brookhaven Hospital and is associated with the International Ministerial Fellowship.  She has completed her Biblical studies and is an Ordained Minister.  Leslie is continuing her education at Oral Roberts University in Ministry and Leadership with a concentration pf Pastoral Care and a minor in Psychology.  Her experience has been in crisis counseling for five years with various organizations.  Leslie has been with Brookhaven for 2 years.

Suzanne Richards, is a Chaplain for Brookhaven Hospital.

Tom Shaw - ChaplainThomas Shaw, has served as a Chaplain at Brookhaven since 2010. He has a Master of Divinity from Southwestern Baptist Seminary. Chaplain Shaw is ordained through the Southern Baptist Convention. He has been a pastor for over 40 years and brings a wealth of experience and wisdom to the teachings he presents.

Nancy Brown, came to Tulsa from Michigan in 1972 to attend Oral Roberts University. She is ordained in the Episcopal Church and serves Good Shepherd Episcopal in Sapulpa. Chaplain Brown completed four units of Clinical Pastoral Education at Hillcrest Medical Center, Tulsa. She has been a chaplain at Brookhaven since April 2013 and is a former board member for NAMI-Tulsa.

Katrina Hubbard, has served as a Chaplain since 2012. She has a Bachelors in Family and Consumer Science and a graduate of Rhema Institute of Biblical Studies. Chaplain Hubbard is ordained through RHEMA Ministerial Association International. Her calling lies in motivating, encouraging, and inspiring people through the Word of God. Her passion is carrying this to the incarcerated.
