During her presentation Cheri and participants embarked in an exploration of the powerful Combination of Experiential Learning and the DiSC Personal Profile. The seminar was geared towards those who:
• Are new to the concept of merging experiential learning methodology with DiSC
• Those who have experience with one and not the other
• Those who are familiar with both and would like to learn more about using them together
• Wanted to explore the effectiveness of their own ability to engage learners Experiential methods aid in engaging learners, physically, socially and emotionally.
Cheri explained that multi-level engagement improves retention and deepens understanding. The active classroom provides a mini life lab of human behavior – participants “get it” because they are “doing it” rather than just talking about it. Participants broadened their facilitator toolkits, as it relates to activities relevant to DiSC, and sharpen their skills by raising awareness as it relates to the DiSC profile.
