Recovery is an ongoing process, but it is possible to deal with and cope with the problems and obstacles that people are faced with everyday. Rehabilitation programs are designed to help those individuals in need of support, motivation, and daily living skills. During thier presentation Blanca Oakley, and Laura Patterson explored the issues that surround psycho-social rehabilitation.

Laura Patterson, BA
Laura Patterson is a recent graduate from Oklahoma State University, as of December 2005. Laura earned a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology with a Business Emphasis. She started out at Family and Children’s Services as a PSR specialist, and just recently moved to the Psycho-social Rehabilitation Team Leader position as of October of 2006. Laura volunteered at the Stillwater Domestic Violence Center in 2004. After years of experience with family members and friends, she decided that the Mental health field was the right field for her.
